Verse one: Movie!Verse

Mindy has been travelling around the country, using her innocent look to guilt strangers into giving her a bed and food for the night. She will still occasionally go back to New York to check on Marcus and Dave before going back out on the road, hoping that one day it will all clear over and she can start fresh.

Verse two: Comic!Verse

This verse is on point with the comics. She was put in jail for six months before Dave had eventually come to bust her out. She basically ran her own gang from inside the prison walls. Her time being spent away has changed her slightly. She’s not entirely all for being a hero anymore. She just likes showing off how tough she can be no matter the situation. She has also taken up a habit of smoking and occasionally drinking. It calms her nerves. One of the other inmates, an ex tattoo artist managed to smuggle in a tattoo machine and gave her a Hello Kitty one which she wears proudly on her upper, right arm.

Verse three: DC!Verse

Her father, always looking up to Batman wanted to try and recreate the whole “Superhero” concept. Although Batman was still around, Damon wanted to bring fresh faces to Gotham. His daughter being one of them. On one of their missions, alongside Kick-Ass, Harley and her Henchmen kidnapped Mindy, giving her the ultimatum to either join their side and fight as a villain and have her father freed. Or, stay as a hero and have her father killed right in front of her eyes. She didn’t go for the latter. She would rather become evil than let someone touch her father. Although she fights for the wrong cause, she’s slowly being brainwashed into believing being bad is good.

Verse four: Apocalypse!Verse (mainly TLOU)

This verse is a take from the first Kick-Ass movie. Being born three years after the outbreak, Mindy had been trained from a young age to fend for herself against the dead. Her mother was infected only a few months after Mindy’s birth caused the young girl to be left with her father. Once she was able to run, she was trained with guns, knives and arrows. Whilst travelling across America with Damon, he had left in the early morning to look for food and never returned. Since then, Mindy has either been by herself or tagging along in other groups she finds along the way. She has no idea where it is she’s going, but she’ll just keep wandering until she finds it.

Verse five: Older!Mindy

After going awol from New York for some time and then finding herself locked away in a high security prison on constant (but not very good) watch. Mindy eventually broke out with the help of Chris. Mindy now works with SHIELD. She’s only a new recruit so she’s still being pushed through the training and gets her own small mission every now and then. She rarely keeps in touch with the amateur group of heroes she grew up with, except for Dave.
