Devil May Cry: Natasha & Mindy {CLOSED}

“ Never have I claimed to be the best” To even utter such a sentence tasted bitter in her mouth, and as she looked to Mindy she was suddenly struck with a realisation. What if this girls actions, what she had done, who she had made a point of surrounding herself with had all been a cry for help the only way she knew how. 

Natasha reached forwards to pull the file back, flipping it shut as she placed it in her lap. It was obvious now such tactics weren’t going to work, so perhaps it was time to go about things in a different way all together. 

“ I’ll make you a compromise…Work in accordance with SHIELD, report back to us, feed us what intel you have, and by extension, we’ll help you as and when you deem necessary…. We’ll keep it all on your terms…and should you so wish” she paused for a beat as her fingers tapped against the file in her lap “ You’ll answer to me and nobody else"

But, if they wanted her as much as she hoped they wanted her, she’d start driving a hard bargain. Just to see what else she could get out of this. At least it was worth a shot.}
